Seriously...!!!
Everyone is trying to help you for FREE, but you are not accepting the help... It is as easy as 1 2 and 3 .. see screenshots PS. If you cannot see the admin tools then you have wrong permission set for yourself/and your moderators as Replicant said. |

Thank you for the screenshot but it has already been established above that I do not get the pop up which you are showing, so YES I have the wrong permissions set, I am aware of this, I have been asking can anyone tell me where in my admin panel I can change them for my self and my moderators because I have looked and looked and cannot find them. |

Are you a member of admin group or some other additional group?
Put yourself only in administrator group and reset administrator permissions to default by going to Channel Management > Channel Permissions. You might have to do this to multiple channels. Do make sure you only edit administrator permissions. See if this sorts this out for you. |

I am a member of the "administrators" group but there is also another group with a member called "admin" in it, that account was seemingly created by the VB5 update, and has full access to everything, my own account does not even though I am set to be an administrator.
I have looked and reset a few channels so far and it hasn't helped I have a new question though! There are channels with loads of my members names next to them, hundreds in fact, but none for my own username?! Can anyone tell me what that's about haha! |

Lookup the Moderator permissions in the usergroup manager for the Adminstrator group and Channel Moderator group. My Moderator privileges are all yes for the administrator group. However, the Channel Moderator group, they are not. IMO, I wouldn't want a Moderator to be able to permanently delete or remove all of the posts from a user or users since the only way to recover them is by backup in the case of a mistake.
