How do you restrict this to specific user groups.?? My forum is a club website . .... there is registerd forum users ( Non PGAC Members, userid = 2) and there is registerd forum users with Private access who have paid ( PGAC Members, userid = 8)


I want to be able to use the forum database but only allow the PGAC members to access the areas i want via this htaccess thing.

This hack cannot do that, all the files are in the same directory so an individual forum cannot be protected by .htaccess you need to use Forum Permissions to set which groups can access a forum and which can't.

There is only one forum !!! I want to be able to use the forum presmissions to grant access to other areas of the clubs website !! for example ... the chat room ....

If they are PHP files make sure the include golbal.php and have like following after it:
