I finally got some free time to fulfill your request. Here we go.

What this mod does
It prevents post count increase for the specified usergroups and on specified forums.

Feature:
Option to restore a user post count to actual value as reported in the database

Installation instructions

Version 1.0.
  1. Uncompress the archive
  2. Upload the content of the "upload" folder into your forum root directory
  3. Import the "product-prevent_post_count" product via your ACP: ACP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Product -> Add/Import Product
  4. Adjust the mod settings as you see fit by specifying usergroups and forums ID.
    ACP -> vBulletin Options -> vBulletin Options -> Prevent Post Count Mod
  5. 5. Save the specified settings

Great work! This is exactly what I was looking for, since we have a fun area in which you can gain easily 50+ on your post count every day.

This is a MUST HAVE hack!!!!

I have a rule on my board where members must say hello (and present themselves) before they can post on the forums....

PLUS, there are other sections where members MUST have a minnimum post count before they can post!

This will help me a LOT!!! Thank you so very much for your coding!!! :up: :up: :up:

This hack is great, but has one flaw:

When you reply with QUOTE, it's bypassed the hack and the post is counted.

Please fix this to make it perfect.
