Note: This what i posted is exactly the same as what is on the demo except the title bar at the top of the player. I did not add that to this thread because there is no real need for it and if you want that part as well it should be very easy for you to add it just adding a second custom field.

Ok this is very easy and very basic and most already know how to do this but "This way/version" is not yet posted so im going to post it.

Step #1
Create A New Custom Profile Fields

Call it Profile Song Url or whatever you want to call it.

It should be Single Line Text Box

Max length of allowed user input should be about 100 that way people that have long links to there songs can still add them with no problem

all the other setting are up to you just choose them as you wish

Step #2
In Member Info Under:
(or where ever you want)

Step #3
Find 3 times

$post[fieldXX]

and replace the XX with the field # of the one you created

Then modify the width and height to your desire

Save the template
and
your done!

now go to your user cp and add your url

then go to your profile and you should have your .MP3, .WMA, .WMV, .PLS, .ASX, or what ever type media you are streaming should be now playing

if your useing audio and not video then hey you got your self a nice little visualizer as well

Im not giving any support on this because its very easy and there are other types of mods close to this posted on the site

the only reason i posted this is that way you could stream all types of media (not just MP3's) and have a visualizer as well

lol thanks omg its funny how many comments i get about my sites profiles

lol the funny thing is that i have been designing them in dreamweaver nothing to special

idk though i know that most people on this site just modify there templates shit not me i save a copy of the original and start from scratch on most of my shit

then i add mods and shit to them but i never follow the instructions that come with these mods and shit cause most of the most that are on this site come with basic instructions on how to get it to work

the creators dont tell people that you can basically do anything you want with it meaning put it anywhere on the site. although some cant be used in other spots but 98% of the mods and hacks for vb can be put anywhere on you site you want and even customized 100% to your liking

but ya thanks again about the profiles on my site i will try to get them 100% finished here soo and release the shit you need to do ASAP

oh ya fo sho man

just make a new html page in DW and then just delete everything from it

then take like lets say for example the memberinfo template

copy and past that mofo in there

refresh that junk with code and design view and there you go just start modding it up

add what ever you want and move stuff around and i use alot of member fields in my profiles for the css and all that kinda stuff to just use some >if condition="whatever">

ya man ifs kinda fun thats what i do in my spare time realy is mod vb up just make sure you make alot of backups so you dont mess things up

Thanks man, that is a great profile layout you have there. I noticed you have background colors for profiles and a choice of layout, you should add that code on here sometime.
