Integration with vBulletin - 3rd Party Login/Register/Autologin API

3rd party login / register integration. Becouse i coudnt find any elegant and small solution for integrating the vbulleting in my site I had to make one myself. The tricky part was to stay and understand the vbulletin code, and how you guys are handing all the security and encoding parts.

This is the first version of the library. It will be extended in the following days/weeks to support multiple operations likes "list of users, last topics, delete user, logout, etc".

For the momment it supports:

• adduser
• login user
• logout user
• count threads ( global or by forum )
• count forums ( global or my parent )
• count users ( global or by type registered|admins|moderators etc )
• count posts ( global or by thread )

how can you use this to be able to use an login.aspx page and then have it integrate the login with vbulletin software without having to edit a bazillion pages.

You need to rewrite this in aspx. Shoudnt be so hard if you look to this library and only "translate"

For example i'm using something like <database>.tablename becouse i dont have the forum and the main site in the same database.

I strongly suggest you have a read at our Articles forum on how to write scripts using the vBulletin backbone.

To ensure data integrety and that future vB changes will continue to work, i also suggest to use the DataManagers where possible (for example to create a user).
