Is it ok if I rename all the files that are going to be replaced. So if some error occurs, I can delete the new files and restore the old ones by renaming them again?
Or the problem occurs only in mysql? |

Gee, why do you worry too much? Well in that case, why don't you perform a full backup of your site files and then do the upgrade? Ask your webhost for a backup, you know...
I can help you out, if you want me to. |

I am scared to upgrade, too. Why do I need to? My forum is very pretty, and runs okay being a 3.6.0. Besides, that version reminds me of my Xbox.

First Step
-Back Up your forum Second Step -Check if current hacks/mods are available for lastest version Third Step -Check if your skin can be modify to work on your next upgrade Those are the 3 main thing I use when upgrading my forum. I move from 3.0.x to 3.5.x but I want to move to 3.6.2, but my license expired |

I was worried about upgrading but did it the other day everything worked out fine. All mods were their and working the only thing that does not work now is my vbadvanced cms. I upgraded from 3.6.0 to 3.6.2... Just make sure you create a back up you never know...
