VB PM Random Sound Notification

This hack has been ported to vBulletin 3.5.4 from the vBulletin 3.0.0 series.

The original author is 350Chevy who has approved this port

This is my Second major ported and released hack for vB 3.5 series.

Plays a random .wav file whenever your users recieve a Private Message. 5 Sounds are included

Can user's choose what sound they want? or can we as admins?

No, it is completely random. If you only want 1 sound, you would put only 1 wav file in the directory, and change 1 line of code.

Is there a setting so that a user can turn it off if they don't like the sound?

Yes, in their USERCP, edit options. (see screenshot)

yes it must be but i don't understand how.....it happened on two files....the last few lines on the file were copied and then pasted right below the original lines. but oh well i have removed it finally and i will try again just not quite yet...noticed it might interfere with one i all ready have. am weighing the pros and cons.

Works great, but how do I get it to work with vbAdvanced? It only works when visiting the main forum area, and not anywhere on my CMPS page.

I can't get it to work at all. I've run the query via phpmyadmin. I edited all the templates and get no sound when sending a private message. I uploaded all the sounds to the main root folder. It didn't work, so I tried the forums folder, but still no go, any ideas? And yes I also added the new phrase as well.
