Yes, finally, that simple seperation modification I made is back, but better and error free (if installed correctly). No, this one doesn't have the "Last Post By" at the far right like the last one did, but having it were it is, isn't bad is it? If I get enough requests, I'll add a tutorial on how to do that as well.
About this Modification!
This tutorial is a simple step-by-step walkthough of how to modify default vB template coding (through the use of the Admin CP) to change the organization of the forums on the main page (index.php). This will seperate categories and just make a simple, yet effective, better looking organization.
Demo? Screenshots?
I have no demo nor screenshots as of yet. If these are needed, I will supply what I can, however, this re-organization style of the modification is similar to that of vBulletin.org's main forum page, just simpler.
Features!
Simple form category spacing/seperation.
No copyright required, free from GamingHybrid.com.*
Compatibility guarenteed for version 3.0.7, but should work on 3.0x series.
Not yet tested on 3.5.x**
*No re-distribution of this tutorial outside of GamingHybrid.com or vBulletin.org, as well as not claiming credit.
**Revision of compatibilities for 3.5.x will happen only on a high demand status.

In the level 1 or level 2 templates (depends on your needs, but to change both). Now, what you need to do if percentage isn't workin well (be sure to make all percentage within the table even, since adding percentage must subtract somewhere to work) try pixel (px) style.
Sorry for the huge delay, I haven't really been supporting this : /
