"See More" Google Custom Search (Lite) - Increase Adsense revenue!
Developer Last Online: Aug 2022
ForumSetup.net?s ?See More? Google Custom Search will allow visitors to easily find similar content on your site and increase your Adsense revenue! Many sites that have this modification installed have also reported a bump in pages per visitor and a decreased bounce rate as well!
How does it do this? A ?See More? link is inserted in the first post of a thread. If a user is coming from a search engine, the keyword they used to search will be used to link to a Google Custom Search to find more similar content on your site. If the modification cannot get the keyword or a user is browsing your site, the title of the thread will be used instead. The free version of Google Custom Search inserts relevant ads, increasing your Adsense revenue at the same time. Features:

To get a custom channel I believe you have to set things up initially in Adsense. There is no way to do it from the CSE control panel.

What ads are you talking?
It already has one ad in navbar and one ad in footer. This is standard Google AdSense integration within vBulletin. You can also made money from integrating GCS with AdSense. |

Actually, results are shown in template see_more_gsearch, gsearch.php file serves to create this template. You need to edit see_more_gsearch to make changes you want to make, but this template already includes navbar and footer, "usual suspects" for showing AdSense ads in most configurations.
If you don't use navbar and footer for this, than you can manually enter AdSense code in this template on place(s) you like. Just don't forget that by AdSense TOS you can have up to three ads on one page. That don't includes GCS ads. |

You can't place code inside search results, only outside. And, if everything is as it should be, as I already said two times, it is so by default (navbar and footer). You don't need to do anything.
If you don't see ads, something isn't setup as it should be. I can't say what. |
