Yes. That's the compromise I adopted as well, since I also find the add-on useful.

This is awesome. I wanted to change the text "Stick Threads" to "IMPORTANT!!" so I edited the "delim_sticky" phrase. Works perfectly.

Question: The space between the "Sticky Thread" area and the "Normal threads" is too close. Is there a way to increase the space? Maybe add another table row between them?

I'm assuming that you know where to find the templates and how to open them to edit them....

Change font color:

Open the FORUMDISPLAY_Separate template and replace

Code:
<li class="threadbit" id="cat1">
With This:

Code:
<li class="threadbit" id="cat1" style="color:#000000;">
NOTE: You will need to change the color in red to the font color to what you want it to be either use a hex color or use a color like Red, Blue etc.

Now to change the background color Find:

Code:
<div class="icon0 nonsticky">
And Replace it with

Code:
<div class="icon0 nonsticky" style="background:#D2BF7B;">
Again you will need to change the color in red to the hex color you want to use or the actual color.

save the template.

Now open FORUMDISPLAY_Separate2 And Find:

Code:
<li class="threadbit" id="cat1">
Replace With:

Code:
<li class="threadbit" id="cat1" style="color:#000000;">
Change the red to the color you want.

Find:

Code:
<div class="icon0 nonsticky">
Replace with:

Code:
<div class="icon0 nonsticky" style="background-color:#D2BF7B;">
Again change the red to what you want it to be.
Thank you very much for sharing this, metalguy639.

Hopefully, I'd like to make these changes soon on my forum.

One way is to place some padding as a css code into your template.

Open both templates - FORUMDISPLAY_Separate & FORUMDISPLAY_Separate2 and edit the following line:

Find:

Code:
<div class="icon0 nonsticky">
Replace With:

Code:
<div class="icon0 nonsticky" style="padding:10px;">
You can increase the number in red or decrease it. Then save the template. Do this to both templates.

OK, if you want to add a separation between the "Sticky Threads" and "Normal Threads", just add a
Code:
<br>
just before the
Code:
<div class="icon0 nonsticky">
statement. in the "FORUMDISPLAY_Separate" template and the "FORUMDISPLAY_Separate2" template.

I found that the text for "Sticky Threads" and "Normal Threads" were a bit cramped in that cell, so I added a space around the phrases. To do this, just add a little html code.

In the "FORUMDISPLAY_Separate" template, find
Code:
<p><b>&nbsp; $vbphrase[delim_normal]
. Replace
Code:
<p>
with
Code:
<table><tr><td  height="25">
. Find
Code:
</p>
and replace it with
Code:
</td></tr></table>
.

In the "FORUMDISPLAY_Separate2" template, find
Code:
<p><b>&nbsp; $vbphrase[delim_sticky]
. Replace
Code:
<p>
with
Code:
<table><tr><td  height="25">
. Find
Code:
</p>
and replace it with
Code:
</td></tr></table>
.

Note: You can replace the number "25" in the "<td height="25"> statement with a larger or smaller number to increase or decrease the space in that cell.
