Want this mod professionally installed? It's guaranteed to work on your forum! Download the archive and see INSTALL.html/UPGRADE.html for more details! Troubleshooting Server Requirements: PHP 5 If you get an error: Code:
The Facebook Connect cross-domain receiver URL http://www.SITEURL.com/xd_receiver.h...%220.699%22%7D must have the application's callback URL http://www.SITEURL.com/forums/ as a prefix. You can configure the callback URL in the application's settings. If you get a continues this means there is a javascript error. Make sure you've done all the template edits correctly (especially footer & navbar). Clear your cache and reload the page. If nothing happens when you click the Facebook Connect button make sure your callback url domain is the same as you forum domain (the one set in your forum settings) - more specifically make sure that there is a www (or isn't) in both domains. Many more features may be implemented in the future so keep checking for updates. Show Your Support

One Bug:
When I Access an Account with Facebook Connect, it Connects but when I End the Session the Facebook Account is Still Oppened, is I write www.facebook.com on the Browser it Displays the Oppened Account, (very Dangerous if an User Access his/her Account on a Public Computer and isn't Aware that his/her Facebook Account will Remain Oppened even if he/she Ends the Forum Session); is an Open Window for Facebook Security and Privacy Problems. (This Happens on Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla FireFox, so is a Problem with the Mod and Not the Browser). Can this be Corrected? How? I also noticed that when I access the Account with Facebook Connect, I Close the Session, and Click the Facebook Connect Button, it Immediately Access the Account without Displaying the Facebook Login Window; this is Related with the Bug I mentioned before. I Appreciate Your Answer, I'll Subscribe to this Mod's Thread to Receive a Solution to this Facebook Security Problem. (I'm Using Version 2.0.5 of this Mod for vB37x). My Best Regars. |

I don't believe that this is a bug with this mod. I have other mods that accomplish this for other software and it is the same behavior. When you log onto facebook, you are LOGGED onto facebook. The only way to log off is to go to facebook and log off there. When I discovered this, I always log out of facebook to make sure I'm not logged in.

I've Updated to version 2.0.6 on vB37x, and the Same Bug Occurs. I Hope You Can Fix That Bug. I've Disabled the Mod for Now, is Not Right to Offer this Facebook Connection Option if that Causes Privacy/Security Problems for the Users on their Facebook Accounts, because their Accounts Will Remain Oppened and Anybody Can Access Them and Even Steal Them (Change the Password) if they're Accessed on a Public Computer. My Best Regards. |

Seems like you didn't Uploaded the File "facebook.php" on the Folder "facebook" on the "includes" folder; perhaps you Uploaded the Files on other Location. If not, Check that the File is on that Folder, and if not Re-upload the Files of the "Upload" folder on their Right Location, which is the Root where the vBulletin Files are. My Best Regards. |

Is it Possible for the Application to End the Facebook Session when the the User Ends the vBulletin Session? I Hope that is Possible. Meanwhile is Important that WebMasters Warn their Users about this, (a Notice Message), so that if they Login with Facebook they Log Out of Facebook when they Finish their Session on the vBulletin Board. My Best Regards. |
