Facebook Connect
This add-on allows your guests and existing users to login with their Facebook account through Facebook Connect. WORKS WITH 3.8! Benefits of Facebook Connect
Facebook users will be able to receive Facebook notifications when:
Fetch data like name, location, profile picture and use it on your forums! (NOTE: Some data may not be available for some users) Automatically befriend user's friends If any of the user's friends are also registered on the forum, they will automatically be friends! How to Upgrade From 2.0.0 to 2.0.1

Want this mod professionally installed? It's guaranteed to work on your forum! Download the archive and see INSTALL.html/UPGRADE.html for more details! Troubleshooting Server Requirements: PHP 5 If you get an error: Code:
The Facebook Connect cross-domain receiver URL http://www.SITEURL.com/xd_receiver.h...%220.699%22%7D must have the application's callback URL http://www.SITEURL.com/forums/ as a prefix. You can configure the callback URL in the application's settings. If you get a continues this means there is a javascript error. Make sure you've done all the template edits correctly (especially footer & navbar). Clear your cache and reload the page. If nothing happens when you click the Facebook Connect button make sure your callback url domain is the same as you forum domain (the one set in your forum settings) - more specifically make sure that there is a www (or isn't) in both domains. Many more features may be implemented in the future so keep checking for updates. Show Your Support

Uploaded all files again, still get the error.
Update. I can get into my admin area, although my forum is still unreachable. I uninstalled the product and everything went back to normal. Not sure what happened. |

whats the permissions on the files? if they are there i'm thinking permissions...
You did put all the files in the Upload folder in the root and NOT the UPLOAD folder itself, correct? |

I figured out my mistake...uploaded into root directory.
I got it working but not when I click on the fbconnect button, the popup that lets me connect with my FB profile is missing the "Connect" button. See image below. When I click on the button that allows me to use my current forum ID, it forces me to login using that ID and then I see nothing about FB anywhere in the forum. |

I cannot get this to work. I can't get it to work for existing users at all. It works for new users somewhat. They can register for the site but no one is givent he option of posting a thread to their Facebook wall and even though I mapped the profile pic to the FB profile pic, that doesn't show up for anyone.

Now new users report that in fact new posts are published to their FB wall, but it is automatic meaning when they make the post in the forum, it does not ask them if they want it published to FB or not.

So the problem is the size of the iframe. Is there a way to increase that?

Hey, I accidentally checked the box to "do this always" and said I did NOT want to publish on my FaceBook account - which was a mistake. Now, I never get the option - how can I reset it so that I have the option, once again, each time to post to my profile? I have full access to the server, code, and phpmyAdmin ... please advise.
