I'm thinking of making an "affiliates" block that will show the little 88 x 130 banners,, is there a way to make a block with a scrolling column of banners ?
I think I know how to do it, but I want it to be a fixed height..
You can actually use the plugin from this modification to get the desired effect.
The version I had created is not too easy to install, which is one of the reasons why.
Please also note that there are, and always will be, modifications that I don't release here for one reason or another and that this is my personal choice. The reasons for this are my own, and no further discussion of this will take place.

No worries, thus the reason I decided to stop looking around here and asking for a plugin/mod when it one already exists with no questions asked on vbHackers.com
Ok, I am new at this, Call me dumby but, How do you edit this. I have it installed and It is thier but how do you add cat. to it? I seen in an earlier thread it was answered but I think the way it was answered you would have to be a coder or been doing this a while to figure it out.
When I put the code in the postbit for it, it just doesn't display it. However if I try it on the forum home, it does display it. Is there something wrong with the plugin not using variables or such?
As previously mentioned I have written an extensive template modification for the whats going on box to display in the column but I have not released it here.

Does anyone have a template for the code so those of us who are not coders can reference to setup the side bar? Something more extensive than that described in this post, such as a template that'll detail how to add adsense code, links, etc?
Thanks so much! Sorry for being a noob at this
David
You will need a basic knowledge of html to add your links and content to the side bar. The code provided in the template is a sample and can be modified in that format to add as many items as required.
