Nu Torrent Tracker 0.74 · **Released**: 06-06-2005

Finally, my bittorrent tracker for vBulletin has reached a somewhat betaish level. Meaning, it functions but some things are still missing like AdminCP Category Editing and so on. But only a few. All needed things are there and it works well as I've been running it on my board for a month now.

I decided to write this thing after firsthand witnessing the problems with VBTT and what was first meant to be quite simple turned out into a full fledged tracker with features like commenting, rating, etc.

Note that this is a beta which means it has only been tested on one system AND I won't be responsible if you go blind from the messy code. But hey, it works! :nervous:

I'll prolly be updating the distro as I find and fix bugs. When the instructions say so or if you wish to, you can uninstall it by going to /forum/admincp/nutt_install.php?step=uninstall

did you go to the maintenance script from your browser by going to http://yoursite.com/nutt/nutt_maintenance.php
Click 'Generate Passkeys'.

nutt/nutt_maintenance.php

when i run this i get all kind of errors.

i installed nutt to ../forums/nutt instead of ../nutt/forums

can that be the reason?

anyway i can uninstall ? or what doi do

to uninstall - /forum/admincp/nutt_install.php?step=uninstall

I ran into that problem too, I just moved the folder, updated the links in the admin section and it worked fine

Does this addon require any special additions in php.ini? Because I've tried everything, but it keeps giving a 404 on announce.php/whatever/passkey. I've uninstalled, reinstalled (including checking the file-edits again), moved the nutt dir inside and outside of /forum/ folder... but nothing's making it work.

I know I'm making the torrent files okay because I added a test torrent to the preview site and it worked fine...

on Outdoor's and afusion's sites, it gives an error (rightely so). When I go to the same on mine, I get a 404

only thing I can think of is editing the register.php file

I joined your site but couldn't connect to the tracker

mine is .74, just haven't updated the little line. I did compare the two files and only upload.php has changed
