Hi guys, got it all set up and working well but i was wondering how you could make it so that the bot will reply after afew seconds/minutes as replying right away makes it look auto which it is, but we dont wanna give that away do we lol

also if i login as the bot, how do i make it so it doesnt reply to itself? I need to get it to post some threads not just reply if ppl are gonna beleive its a real user lol

thanks

This I can take care of when i do the do not let bot reply code. I will make a little extra code for you so that only the person logged in as the bot sees it. But not having it be auto would be a bit more work. I will see what I can do about this for you. Please keep in mind that right now this is not my hack to really be releasing new versions for and stuff. That is why as of right now i have not yet released the new version that i have made. Im still waiting on a reply from the guy who released this as beta so till then.

Well, I'm not getting the "Process Complete" page spit back at me right away again, but now it's not completing at all.

If memory serves from the vb2 version, after running botloader.php, I should see a page showing which AIML files have been loaded. Right now, I see nothing...just whatever page I was on before I went to run the script (ie, Google.com, etc.). The browser status bar shows something loading--slowly, as it should, I think--but the script hangs at around 2/5 of the way along. The last time I tried, I let it sit there for an hour or so, before botloaded.php finally skipped to a 404.

Since I'm the only one who seems to be having this problem, I'm sure it's something I've screwed up on my end, but if anybody can give me any clues about where might be an appropriate place to look when I get home tonight, that would be great.

I got it up and running, the only problem I see is that when tombot replied to a new thread, on forum home it showed a blank title, and didn't show the title until a real person replied to the thread.

Any ideas?

This is more then likely do to your servers setting of some timeout limit that is being hit cuasing termination of the script.

While addons are nice it never hurts to build them in and have an on/off option where there this small. Unlike the store hack where they were usualy big.
