About the Game vBArmy is a game for vBulletin. Each member begins their adventure by choosing a Race which had certain advantages over other races. They begin with a few soldiers and a bit of gold, and must build their army by fighting other players. Players can buy weapons for their soldiers to increase their attack strength, and buy armor to increase their soldier's defense strength. However, each soldier can only use one weapon and one item of armor. Players can also upgrade their Defense and Offense to increase their defensive and offensive strengths by a percentage. Players can browse through a list of participating players. They can conduct intelligence operations by sending Spies, which cost a set amount of gold to purchase. The more spies you send, the more accurate the intelligence you gather will be. Gathered intelligence gives you an estimate of the players total gold, offensive power, and defensive power. If you choose to attack a player you must use "Turns." You only get a certain amount of turns every cycle set by the admin. The more turns you use, the more gold you will steal from your opponent. Be warned though, your opponent will know that you attacked them by viewing their Defense Log and being notified by pm. Naturally it is important to grow your army. The only way to get soldiers in the game is to have your friends click your "Recruitment Link" They can only click it once every (admin set minutes), and each time they do you will receive an (admin set amount) of soldiers. I think this is a great mod with good potential for expansion!
My forum members love this. couple of requests from my members so far, - Optional Image uploads for Home Base screen (example each race has a different looking town/base) - Upgrades for Home base and Army (An example was Gold Reserves which could add an %increase to gold per turn/click) - Optional Image uploads for equipment - Other ways of generating/purchasing soldiers (could work with homebase upgrades, such as barracks allowing you to buy soldiers for X each) Thats it for now Great Work! |

Another request
Anyway to set the amount of gold that can be stolen? (again intergration with town upgrades could be useful here, gold reserve could hold a certain amount of gold away from attackers for example lets say 100 gold per level of gold reserve, that amount would be safe during an attack) |

LUCK. as well as ones determining attributes, it would be great if we could still figure luck in by a roll of the dice. although that would probably be a modification in itself. which could of course be incorporated into a lot of mod's. with luck, even if somebody is more powerful than you, you still have a chance of winning. |

A few suggestions for vBArmy, some of these I already PM'd you when you first posted the MOD Lethal Geass.
1) High Scores, create a high scores block with: the ruling warlord, based on who has the most gold, men and assets. And the next two highest ranking users, like, general and then commander in the first table and list the last 5 battles or skirmishes game wide in the second, so everyone knows who is or has attacked whom. 2) Errors, need to get "all" the error messages on the games page with the mods side navigation available, as anytime you don't have enough gold or can't do something it takes you away from the game to the default vbulletin error message and the user has to click back on the navbar and then back to where they were, rather then click "close" or back on the games navigation menu. 3) Recruitment, option to set per day, how many units a user gets/recruits automatically also option to set (%) chance and (%) how many may defect the users army. 3a) Change the recruitment box and link, since with the above change you can set an auto recruit amount, the recruitment box should be for referring someone to the site. Ergo: Invitation System, once a referral completes registration on the site, the user who recruited them gets x amount of units (army) and (x) amount of gold. /else just use that window for the diplomats to make allies and list them with stats. 4) Diplomat, were you can form treaties with other players, giving each of them attack and defense bonus (%), however costing each (x) amount of gold per day (cycle) to keep up with the expenses of a coalition. Also information on your ally is more accurate with spies, and if you break a treaty you get extra (%) of turns VS that user since its a sneak attack on a former allied nation. This will give everyone a reason to ally yet make them all wary of them. 6) Resources, add a way to increase gold production (other then raiding). Some kind of resource production perhaps / land owning, mine, forest. User can use turns to gather resources, they can purchase these tradesman like armor or weapons, ergo: miner, woodsman or farmer.. They would get (x) amount of gold per each one working. 7) Combat, adjust the combat losses,there needs to be a better outcome and possibility of larger losses other then just the one unit and gold driving the need for people to make alliances, playing it safe for a few days till they can replenish numbers and so on, adding more dynamic to the game. 7a) Perhaps create script to display the combat in real time between units fighting. (display dice roll or calculations) 8) Plug-in, add plug in to work with (vBExperience) and or other posting credit modifications. 9) Banking, system (Vault), though attackable by enemy at a greatly reduced chance of success and high (unit) loss. 10) Spies, can also have a (%) chance to assassinate leaders, and can be sent on a mission to do so by checking a box, if successful the other player suffers an (admin set %) turn penalty while his county elects a new leader. Ergo: if the game setting was (100%) and the spy succeeded in assassinating the user, then that player would lose all current turns available to them until the next cycle, simulating total chaos in their country being unable to retaliate. If however it was set at or around (50%) then it could simulate that the generals or commanders took control over the army and carried out what maneuvers they could until a new leader was elected at the next cycle. If I think of more I will add them to this list so they are in one place.. :up: _V |

it seems also to be stuck on 5 attacks per member. it has been more than 24 hours but still it is giving an error saying that i have attacked 5 times in 24 hours.
