Hi all,
Is there a mod that forces a user to logout or kills and active session after a certain period of inactivity? I am positive I have users that just leave their IE window minimised and stay logged into the forums - as they are always on there 24 hours a day and always in the same spot for hours at a time never going somewhere else. |

This could only happen if they idle on whos online page. Otherwise users will logout after the cookie timeout expires.

and you can change the cookie expiry time if you want...
vBulletin Options > Cookies and HTTP Header Options > Time-Out for Cookie |

Deny them access to whos online? Or set the refresh time to a higher number than your cookie timeout? I don't really see what the problem is though.

You set the cookie timeout for one month? That means all users will show online for a whole month....
If you check remember me, you don't ever logout. |
