Sometimes when useres start a new thread, it will disappear after couple minutes and never will back again, it happens with different users in different forums
i'm running vBulletin 3.5.4 ( Upgraded from 3.5.3 ) on: Fedoracore II ( DEDICATED SERVER ) CPU 3.06 Intel Memory 2G Apache 2.0.51 MySQL 4.1.15 i had same problem with 3.5.3 before upgrading i use alot of hacks, over than 50 plugins! I do not PRUNE! I do not REMOVE! I do not MOVE TO ANOTHER FORUM! then i ran this query: [sql]SELECT threadid, title FROM thread WHERE visible = 0;[/sql] NO ROWS! NOW what shoud i do ? which hook locations i have to check ? which modified files? any suggestion are WELCOME! hope u guys help me and my forum! |

assuming you do not have any files edits...
1)__ Disable Plugin System (vbulletin Options) 2)__ Check if problem exists (most likely it doesn't ... problem is caused by a plugin) 3)__ Enable Plugin System but disable all products/plugins manually 4)__ Enable Products/plugin one at a time 5)__ Check until problem exists 6)__ When you run into problem disable product/plugin that is causing problem and check with product thread for updates. |
