How can I add a JAVA based banner rotation into a CMPS module

I have been trying to find a script here on the site and I am having problems... The closest I found is this one and it may work yet but I am out of my element:

What I am trying to do is to come up with a list of related books that would go with the content of my website. I want to have an image of the book on my server with an Amazon affiliate link to the book itself for my members to buy if they are interested.

I want this to rotate so that I can feature a number of books or magazines on the site.

The link above seems like it should work but I am not getting any rotation. Does anybody have any advise or even a link to another resource that might help me figure this out.

I found a new Java Code and I created my own simple MOD that I posted here on the forums.
