Unfortunately Dani that is the type of response you'll get from people not all that familiar with U.S. city nicknames.
I' not sure many from other countries would know what we are talking about when we mention The Big Apple, Mile High City, City of Big Shoulders, Twin Cities or any other nickname we give our cities.
