Somebody told me to check with you guys on this site, that there was some hack that would allow the Admin to auto-subscribe new users to Forums - so they could get a weekly email updating them on any activity in that forum.
Do any of you know about that, or can point me in the right direction. This is for new users who wouldn't know how to subscribe to a forum yet. I just want to send them a couple of emails for a couple of weeks to get them used to coming back to it.
I think he might wanted for example when new users registers to get auto subscribed to "What's New" forum.. without user knowing..
Yeah - that's right actually. I tried the Community Bulletin thing. It's basically a good idea that I could taylor for my purposes - however it simply won't send out html emails! It says it will but you end up with the html code instead of the html design.
