I have asked at the vb support forum and for the past 2 hours have had no reply. I'm desperate. Please.....for the love anything you all hold dear, please help me.... Please!
I manually edited my "FORUMDISPLAY" template via phpmyadmin. However, the changes didn't take effect so I deleted the template thinking the template with the "-1" value would take over. Alas I no longer have a "FORUMDISPLAY" template on my forum. In my adminCP there is no "FORUMDISPLAY" template and as such my forum is unusable. The "FORUMDISPLAY" template - as I'm sure you know - is pretty crucial to the forum being used. Its no longer tehre. I have the "FORUMDISPLAY" entry in the table, however it doesn't show up in the admincp so I can only assume there is a setting I am missing It is this setting I am BEGGING you all to reveal to me. Am I missing something? I( need to get my forum back online!! PLEASE. Help me. ![]() |

vB support should get back to you about this one.
Why were you editing a template using phpmyadmin? You should stick with the AdminCP. Saving it outside of AdminCP won't save the template due to the world it is coded. |

If I'm not mistaken.. Just set up a test board. Then copy the forum display template. Then make a new template called FORUMDISPLAY on your live board and paste the contents.

Upload tools.php from the do_not_upload directory of your vB zip-file to your admincp directory. Point your browser to it and use it to re-import your master style.
