Restrict Even More Administration Permission

You know how you can restrict categories in the AdminCP from each administrator as you see fit? You can give them User access, Forum access, Calendar, Maintenance, General, etc..

Well, is it possible to go in farther? Like what if I wanted an administrator to be able to edit users and add or change usergroups, but I didn't want them to be able to edit the access masks?

So rather than choosing from that list of ten or so restrictions, go even farther into it so it's almost like creating a new usergroup.

[vB 3.0.9] bump... other then what is listed via Admin CP > User Groups > Administrator Permissions > Edit Permissions, is there a way to add/remove portions of certain permissions (sub-permissions) via modifying the PHP code to subdivide the existing admin sections?


ie:

• User Ranks
• User Reputations
• User Profile Fields
• Subscriptions

supposedly, this can be done via removing the "file" (link?) within the Usergroups listed permissions. does anyone know where those are? any posts regarding this a vB.com get referred back to here.

Bumping this as I'm pulling my hair out trying to find a solution. Keep coming up with request threads but no solutions and I'm not smart enough to make one

Please, if any Master Coders out there are bored, can you take a look at this? We all trust our co-administrators but we would also like more fine control over what they can access inside AdminCP.
