so apologies if it isnt.. but i want to know, how would i make a catergory strip with a image over it, but using different images at the ends?

damn im bad at explaining things.. i mean a catergory strip using a gradient image, but with different ones at each end so it looks different.. if you get what i mean, how do i do it?

There got to be some other and easier way to do it, but here is what just pops up into my head

From the Additional CSS Definitions under the Style Options

Add a new class, I just called it tcat1, you can change it to whatever you like, this is only an example.

You will need to change the image name and path to use your own, and change the colors.

	color: #FFFFFF;
	font: bold 10pt verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
}
.tcat1 a:link

	color: #ffffff;
	text-decoration: none;
}
.tcat1 a:visited
{
	color: #ffffff;
	text-decoration: none;
}
.tcat1 a:hover, .tcat a:active
{
	color: #FFFF66;
	text-decoration: underline;
}

Then open forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost template
and find

		<td class="tcat" colspan="<if condition="$vboptions[showmoderatorcolumn]">6<else />5</if>">

Change it to

		<td class="<if condition="$forum[forumid]==1">tcat1<else />tcat</if>" colspan="<if condition="$vboptions[showmoderatorcolumn]">6<else />5</if>">

Where 1 is the forum ID you would like to use the new class with.
