Well I can think of many differences between the language here and where you are...

There are obviously dialects, which affect us just as much as you; I have trouble understanding far north, far east, far south and far west dialects - Even the london cockney accent is hard to grasp...

I dunno - I understand most of what Americans say to me when I've been over there
