I want to know if there are any good coders who would be interested in creating a proper ed2k (edonkey/emule) hack for vbulletin 3.0.8 to 3.0.9 series (not vb3.5).

Some of the problems that need to be overcome are the links opening in a "New Browser" window. Need to open in same browser window

And also, while some links work. vBulletin inserts spaces into most ed2k links because of the special characters in the ed2k links making them fail for most links. other things like getting file size and adding an extra link to add all multiple links in one go would also be great.

Hope somebody is interested in doing this because it will be a popular hack and WIN hack of the month!!

Do you mean the ed2k link system they have converted for vBulletin using the IPB version? Well they don't want to share it publicly it seems. I've already asked the site owner in MSN why does he not share it with everybody who wants it for vBulletin like the rest of the good people here do who create hacks. But he doesn't want to, says he's afraid somebody will take credit for his hack, well thats what he told me anyway! :disappointed:

Anyway there version is for vBulletin 3.5.0, which is no use to me seeing as I'm after a version for vB 3.0 series.

can i ask why you would want this for 3.0.x BB ?

why wouldn't you want the newer version..

I don't use vB 3.5, I've tested it and prefer vB 3.0 Just like some users prefer to use vB2 over vB3.

MMmmmm. Yeh I did do the fish site, but covering just one subject on the site was kind of boring. I'm not after running an ed2k links only site. I just want the hack so the option is there to use the hack for ed2k links along with general stuff on the site. Unlike some people who want it to just run an ed2k links based site.

That not my intentions
