I thought I read about a links manager (kind of Yahoo-style with categories and where users can leave ratings/comments) a while back, but I haven't been able to find the messages again. If something's been released/close to being released, can someone point me to the right discussion? If nothing's being developed right now, does anyone know if anyone else is planning on making such a mod?

ummm, i have partly coded "Link Buddy" which is a link managnent system that incorporiates usergroup permissions .... so basicly you can set usergroups to see each link
i was tired when i read your first post, and just re read it again ... link buddy is as I explained ..... not as you requested ... sorry to waste your time
was this ever completed? Know of any similar products to do link management? Would be nice to include sponsored links at the top...
LLIFE - I wound up using WSN Links. It can integrate with vb's user base. You need to do a good amount of template editing IMO, but it's a very nice script and can support sponsored links.

Theres also a links directory hack here on vb.org (do a search) thats free. I hear good things about it but never used it myself.
