<a href="https://secure.hostgator.com/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=slaneaw" target="_blank">Host Gator</a> has been my host for almost six months now and they are by far the best host I've used. Since switching my sites to Host Gator over the summer I haven't had any downtime or performance issues. The one time I had to contact support to get a database imported they had it completed within the hour (My last host took three days to import a database for me ...)
