Its not a forum link, its a thread link
Hi members,
currently you can create a board with a forum link. Everyone clicking on this forum is redirected to the url you entered in the admincp. I want to see this for special threads. I want to be able to create threads which are no thread where you can answer on. It should only be a link. For example: I have a forum for my admins where I post documentations, links to scripts etc. Actually the admins have to open the thread to visit links which I posted inside. I would like to see links as thread in a forum or subforum. I think this would be a wonderful addition to vb 3.5 and should be standard for the next version. What do you think? regards jluerken |

Interesting idea
- New field URL in table thread - Plugin(s) on Thread creation to handle URL Input - Maybe also Plugins on Edit Thread - Plugins on threaddata_start/threadfpdata_start for validfields - Plugin on showthread_start/showpost_start to exec_header_redirect() if URL field set - Some Template stuff Done |
