hmm, I don't know anything about Mac. I use mirc for windows or an linux client.
As for the network name maybe try irc.ircjunkys.com. Or the IP which is 65.40.137.13
In mIRC the network & server can be the same. Unless you have multi IP's sharing the same network, then they can be different.
