Questions & problems about VB 3.5

Ok I upgraded to this a few hours ago. Once I finished I immediately started noticing errors on the site. I opened up a forum and there was a new column added with those check boxes(dont know what there for, please answer that question) but there was no bar over it at the top. The bar stopped at "views". So there was no bar over the top of it. Also none of my drop down menus are working now after the upgrade. Search, quick links, moderator tools...all those drop down menus. None of them drop down and the link wont work. Also my flashchat doesn't work now after the upgrade.

I am already thinking about going back to vb 3.9 because I never had problems like this ever. Please help, I am not going to get any sleep tonight if I dont lol. I want to get this fixed.

Have you checked for updated templates and reverted them?

Admin CP > Styles and Templates > Find Updated Templates

Will that remove what I have on those files currently?

Yes, but they must be converted to work with 3.5, Just make a copy of the templates in txt files and you can add the stuff back that will work after you get the templates converted.

Ok yeah those are working now, I still need to test out the chatroom when I get the other things back up. Thanks man. I will post if I have any more problems.

Everything but my flash chat works now. If you go to http://www.globalfisher.com and click the chatroom link at the top you can see what I mean. Also what are those check boxes on the far right in the view topics part of the forum? I see that you can click them but there is no option to do anything with them. There is also no words at the top of that column...

Those checkboxes are to moderate threads/posts. You will find the moderation options in the bottom of your page.

If you have problems, try it first with a new created Style without a parent, and press Ctrl-F5 once on a problem page to refresh your cache.

I don't see anything at the bottom of the page for moderating threads. This is what I see:

And this is what the header area looks like so you can see that there is no text over the column with the check boxes.

I went and create a new style like you said and it seems to be all working in there. There is a button in the area I though was supose to have text in it but mine has nothing. How do I get that on mine?

Like i said, try again with a new style that has no parent.

I fixed the column that didn't have anything. So my only problem is the chatroom. I think I am just going to re-add everything tomorrow on a new style like you are saying cause there are no problems on them. Just getting kinda late here, 2:48am. I just wanted to get most of the things working again.

I can reply to topics with no problems, but when I try to edit posts or reply to a PM my keyboard won't respond. I can click where I want to make modifications and the cursor shows up, but nothing happens when pushing any of the keys. Then when I open up a new window the keys I just typed are entered there instead. This problem is only occuring in Opera and not with Mozilla or IE.
