Bulk / Batch insert of new threads / posts

I presume the lack of response means that there isn't a known way of doing this. :disappointed:

Has anyone else ever wanted to do create threads / posts automatically, or is it just me? Basically we run overnight batch jobs on a Unix system, and I want to automatically initiate a thread when a batch job aborts that then gets followed up by our support staff.

Anyone have any interest in this at all?
