Anyone does this for 3.5.0 rc1?

Or will the one for 3.0.7 work?

No 3.0.7 version will work.

FYI - The 3.5.0 version of my "proxy to real ip" hack is all just about done (it was waiting for a hook that was added in RC1) - but I'm on a training course this week and then away on holiday for two weeks. I will be releasing it in the last week of August.
