Regardless of your views on Iraq etc., putting bombs on trains and buses in rush hour traffic to kill innocent civilians cannot be condoned and should be condemned.

It is sad that situations like these happen but always remember there is always a cause and an effect...
Oh yea like we were fighting a war when we woke up on 9/11 and saw 3000 people lose their lives.

Oh and I thought you guys had come to the conclusion that Al Quida and Iraq had nothing to do with each other so why would they care about a war that, by what you say, means nothing to them because they are not associated with them.

Don't bring politics into this crap alright?

They can take their cause and effect and shove it up their ass. This is not an illegitimate war, THAT IS YOUR OPINION.

Afghanastan would be the Country they would be associated with and if you tell me that was illigitimate I am going to go off.

My deepest sympathy to all the families who have losses or injured people among them.

@all
We can understand that this act is causing a lot of emotions among people. Please restrict this thread to ventilating those emotions.

What we will not allow is that this thread is turned into a political discussion, and from now on all posts with political remarks will be removed. We hope that all can have understanding for this.

I have to sadly agree with A.Ah that this is definitely something that has been spurred by Britain's involvement in Iraq, though I don't believe that anyone can say that this is a justified way to counter-attack.

Also, before there is talk of retalliation, A.Ah does bring up a good point that the number of civilian casualties in Iraq has not been reported properly.

STILL, I think it's completely inappropriate to imply in any way that these innocent civilians deserved to die because their countries are embroiled in something which is beyond civilian control.

Again, I express my deepest condolences to everyone in London whether they've had families directly or indirectly affected.

- Sid

The same group pf Al Queda has claimed responsibility for the bombings in Egypt. Egypt did not support the Iraq war. And the US was at war with no one on 9/11 or the first time the World Trade Center was bombed.

Something everyone needs to remember is that Al Queda isn't a part of any government, but countries that allow them to grow can do us all great harm. Especially the ones that have enough money and no evidence on how they spend it. The people living in fear and poverty while billions are being spent on the unknown. "Oil for Food" being abused should send a chill down everyone's spine. Where else was that money going in a place harboring those that want to do us all harm?

My husband served in Iraq along side some of the British troops. He was greatly pained at the loss of a few of the British soldiers who had become close friends of his while he was there. Finding the leaders and financers of this type of evil is the only way to fight back and it's hard to do one at a time in a huge world, but I for one am very thankful for the support of the British people to the Americans and they have mine. I pray none of us have to see the kind of horrors we have seen again.
