Removing Column In Fields

]Ok, what i was installing told me to do this:

Run this SQL query on your database. Don't forget to add a prefix to table's name if you use one in your config.php:

ALTER TABLE `forum` ADD `hide_hack` INT(1) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL;

I did that than began to recieve this message when going to edit forums.

Now i don't know how to fix it, but need it to be fix in order to use the forum.

That error says that the hide_hack column is not in the forum table, so you'd need to run that query you posted to add the hide_hack column to the forum table.

You said that you ran the query but the error says that you did not.

To get better support i suggest you post your problem in teh thread about that hack, and not in the general section.

Looking again at this, you should have been getting an error on that first query, unless you have installed 2 Boards into the same database, 1 using a prefix and the other not using a prefix.

You can run the following query to fix your problem:
[sql]ALTER TABLE `jelsoft_forum` ADD `hide_hack` INT(1) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL; [/sql]
