What templates would I need to edit to take most of he images out of vbulletin and add text, for example, the new thread image to [New Thread', the post reply image to [Post Reply], the quote image in the postbit to [Quote] etc?

funnily enough I am just about to finish a full non image style which I will release shortly.
You will have to edit some templates as well ie the header,you can use text as your header instead of a pic ie....

.headertext { color: green; font: bold 20pt verdana,
geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica,
sans-serif; text-decoration: none; }

the above should be added to customised in this style box at the bottom of the page in admin cp,as you can see change the font colour and size to suit.I have this as a style file if you want it you can then play around with the colours etc if you want,ans thats all you will have to add the style file with no uploading to your ftp.Anyway drop me a pm if your interested.
