Yes. My forums are split into areas that just have a general title and the sub-areas underneath. There is a lot of white space and I think it'll be presented quite well at even 1024x768 in this format as there is no Moderator column.
I have looked at Xenon's hack, but it actually takes away too much.
If I could represent the above screen shot in some way, I believe that would help my forums.
