UBB sits all the posts in one table, thats what i thought you where refering to, cause you know as well as I that we both had to split the posts up back in the day .

Anyway, vB 2.x.x sits all the posts on their own tables stock, this is why they load one by one (if your connection is slow enof ) Of course this can be modifiyed .

Also, vB 3 puts a table around all the posts, thats why it 'feels' like a longer wait when loading threads on a vB 3 beta forum.

Keep in mind that the current vB 3 template set is not finished.

..to answer the question raised:

Stock vB's do this by default, you have modifyed your style/your pre made style has been modifyed. You will have to re code it to allow all posts to have their own table (postbit template).
