Even if you have e-mail confirmation on you need to upgrade due to a bug that's fixed in 2.3.0 RC where even banned e-mails could post. Download 2.3.0 RC from http://www.vbulletin.com/members/ .

I don't ban by emails lol and plus my forum has to many hacks
