Thanks, Tony. I'll try out some of those suggestions and see how they turn out. I appreciate the feedback.

As for the icons, yes they are from the Emerge skin, but I purchased the button set seperately from vbskins.com, and I really only wanted those post indicators as we've got a music-related site, and I thought they'd go well with our color scheme.
