Quote
My quote button doesn't work. It works if you click it inside the reply area, but if you actually click the button on someone's post, it brings the reply up with no quote..?

Have you applied any hacks or template edits to your postbit?
The code in the postbit for the "quote" button is: <a href="newreply.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=newreply&postid=$post[postid]"> That link is what creates a "quote" in the reply. You may also want to check your "Custom vB Codes" in your admin panel to make sure that it's still there and has the correct code in it. |

I checked and that is fine.
When attempting to perform the quote, at the top of the page, the error reads: "Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /home/jbl/public_html/jeff/newreply.php(36) : eval()'d code on line 1" |

Yikes. Ummm, do you have any hacks installed? Also, does this only occur with the quote button, or with the standard reply as well? Lastly, can we get a link to your board?

My forum is not up yet for the public, my friend and I are the only ones viewing it to practice and tweak it to perfection. He is a big graphic guy so he helps me out.
Anyway I am using the UBB-clone board, and I added some of my own stuff to it. The standard reply is fine. |
