Forum Moderation Problem
Hey all...I have a slight problem.
Certain private forums have moderation on even though I have made it a point to turn them all off. This only afflicts private forums, such as a private forum for people with over 1,000 posts, and staff forums. Super Mods and Admins don't have a problem, but other usergroups I have created do. When they post, I have to approve their posts in order for them to be seen. This is odd, because I never had this problem before I moved to a new server. My board is hacked up pretty well...that may have something to do with it, but does anyone else have ideas or experience with this matter that could be able to help me? So far, I've tried deleting the affected usergroups and re-creating them, and deleting the forums affected and re-creating them, to no avail. The problem persists. I have not set up a test board yet, but I plan to. Any ideas? (PS) I think this is in the correct forum, as always, feel free to move is not. Thanks. -Mike |

Hmm ... if usergroup and forum permissions are set correctly then there is most likely a bug in some PHP file(s) - but it's hard to say where.
functions_new.post.php could be a candidate. If you want, feel free to send me a PM with an ACP and FTP account and i'll take a look into it. |
