Single thread, multiple forums.
It seems like several times I've run into the issue where there really is a need for different forums, but a single topic will nail both of them. Most times seperate threads will exist for each seperate forum on the board, or somebody will try to post a link to the other forum's post and a few stragglers might make it over.
It would be nice to be able to post a single thread to multiple forums. So if anyone posted to the thread in either one, everyone would be a part of the same conversation.
