Ebay may be a fine resource, but that is not what I am talking about. They have ruined many different markets by driving prices down so much in certain areas. An example is the sports card market. Something that I am interested in. The majority of people into sports cards and such would blame ebay on putting many local shops out of business.

This can only be seen as a good thing in my eyes, sports cards and memorabilia is ridiculously over-priced. I just don't get why people pay for so called rarities of a sports card? Who cares? From a consumer point of view, competition is always good
