Automatically create hyperlink from keyword
I am wondering if there is a way to have posts containing certain preconfigured keywords (such as support, MCSE, etc.) appear not as just a plain word, but instead appear as a hyperlink to the preconfigured location.
For example, if someone in the forums posted the word support (just as an example), it might link them to a forums support page. Or if the word contact was posted, it might link them to the forums contact page. |

In the AdminCP: Go to the Styles & Templates, go to the link Replacement Variable Manager, hit [Add New Replacement Variable] and just fill in what you want replaced with what. |

Right, but in doing so you have NO control over where the replacement occurs. So if for example, I used the word "Survivor" and I wanted that to hyperlink to "http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor8/index.shtml" it would do the replacement each and every time the word appeared. Now in the body of a post, this is cool...but in a thread title or other places, thus causes problems.
So I suppose my question should have been more specifically...within the post data itself, can this be done? |

Well, I'm hoping that someone can help me to figure that out then. It would a great extension to the replacement variables feature.
