Umm...when i go to install a mod it always asks me to edit a file called FORUMHOME. I looked all over my server for this, and i couldnt find it :/ is it sometihng i have to add or...what?

There is no FILE forumhome, its a template and templates being the magical and godly things that they are reside in the database
AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Click on << >> > and you will see all the templates you could ever want
