Ouch, the announcements are what's really messed up and I think I know why. I guess mac doesn't handle width="100%" well eh?

For Safari everything has to be 100% perfect for it to display perfectly

also the announcements begin to work after a while (the scrolling ones) i have to stop opening the page because of the top sites at the bottom, which is also messed up on safari

Safari is a OSX only program. You'd be better off trying to get Konquer running in windows, or find a windows KHTML browser...
