custom bb by usergroup?
Is there a way to disallow a custom bb code from working for specific usergroups? I have a few custom ones, like mp3 player, etc, I'd like disallow them for certain groups. I think I can just wrap a conditional around the code in the custom bb code, but I don't know what to put. Can anyone help?
If the selection can not show up in the menu that would be great, otherwise, if it just doesn't work for them, that's good too. Thanks |

I have a custom bbcode as well with this mod https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...threadid=72162 . I have dug and dug but haven't been able to come up with a way to secure this by groups which is why I haven't moved it out of beta.

Indeed, this would be nice.
Because then I can use my Mod= BBcode only for the crew |

The problem is that normal (i think, not 100% sure) bb-codes are not evaluated when the post is made, but when the page is shown. So you should create a new check when the post is made.
And what if the user edits his own post after the moderator has added this code. He could remove it, or the edit would be refused because he don't have permission to use it. |

Well now you're going a few steps further then just a bb-code.
Well maybe someone will have time to make something like this, i haven't seen it around yet. |
