Odd occurance when users registering...

Whenever a user registers, when they post it comes up with 'guest' under their username.

Its almost as if the two usergroups have got mixed up. They can post etc, and they have definatly registered, but it displays them as guests.

Any ideas?

We think it depends on the way in which a user activates their account. On some accounts it works fine, but then on some it doesnt.

Any help wold be greatly appreciated.

When activating through the USER CP it seems to register them as a guest. Through email seems ok.

Through email, i guess you mean activation using an activation link provided in a mail send out upon registration.

But what you mean with activating through UserCP?
