I've had the "install.txt" open for the past 4 hours. lol Yes man... I updated showthread.php and then edited showthread template.

Mike please note that redistrubting full vBulletin files in any way shape or form on any website even a vBulletin sister site is breaking the license agreement, please never do so again anywhere.

C'mon guys, I hate to be all imposing and everything but geez.... this seems like it would be extremely easy to do... i tried everythign that was explained in the above posts and nothing had worked.

my board is a news site and, as like the New York Times and the such, I would like it so members are asked to sign up before reading the news story (aka post)....hence I don't mind it being popping up for every thread.
